I Made it Myself

I love knitting, I just never have enough time to get much done at a time. That and I have too many projects going at one time...

I finally finished Meghan's Christmas stocking. It is just a simple stockinette stitch. We now have matching Christmas stockings in my family (Joe-navy and cream, Heather-wine and cream, Jase-hunter green and cream, Meghan-fuchsia and cream).

Did you make something? Head on over here and join the group!

Knitted Halter Top

I finished this halter top a while ago for Meghan - it is actually a size 2 and should fit her perfect next summer. I am going to add on to the bottom with purple and make it into a dress.

Brought to you by the Letter M

Here is another letter...

The funny thing is when I finish one letter, Jase immediately wants another...silly boy!

I Made it Myself - Meghan's Blessing Dress

I just love making baby and kid clothes, specifically girl's things. So it was pretty easy for me to decide to make Meghan's blessing dress. The hard part was figuring out the pattern. I didn't find one pattern that I liked the whole dress of, so I took a bodice that I liked and adapted the pattern for the sleeves and gown.

These are the best pics I have, since I forgot to take some without it being worn (and now it is all packed away).

Handmade letters

I first thought of making these for my son to learn his name. Then when he got them for his birthday, he decided that he needed the whole alphabet. So now I'm making my daughter's name and then I'll fill in with the rest of the alphabet...

Meghan is as cute as a bee...

I actually made this outfit a while ago - it was super easy and looks super cute. I wish I had more time to sew as I love all the cute clothes that I could make (and I definitely have the fabric!).

Christy over at crafty conservative started doing a "I made it myself" Saturday - go check it out! Maybe one day I will start an etsy store...
