Ugh

So I was walking along our side yard to go into the back yard with the kids and almost walked face first into this:

It was right at my face level and we were literally eye to eye. Once the surprise wore off I got the camera and then talked with Jase about the spider, how it was spinning up it's food (we got to see this), and why most spiders are nice by eating unwanted insects.

Thankfully I'm not terrified of spiders - that's bees for me. Are you friends or foes with spiders?
