Father/Son Camping Trip #2

Friday night Joe and Paul took the young boys (Jase, Ashton, and Dominic - yes, Paul was a brave one taking Dom who is just 18 months old) camping. From the pictures it looks like they had a great time. This time they camped at Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground on SR 25. Last year they camped at Prophetstown State Park.
I've been told that Dominic had a hard time with sleeping and Paul actually took home around 3a (that's the bonus of only being 10 minutes away from home when camping with little ones). The next morning Jase woke up at his normal 7a and proceeded to wake everyone else up - that's my boy!

Here are some of my favorite pics - enjoy!

Camp - looks nice and kids seem happy to play in the tents, and having a fire and food...

The many faces of Dominic (how cute is he...)

Dominic having a blast on the slide.

The big kids at the park.

Some fun down by the mighty Wabash River - can you believe all those water bugs - ugh!

Silly kids waiting for some s'mores before bedtime.

This is one of my favs with the blurred look (although blogger won't orient it correctly).

Going for a hike after a (mostly) sleepless night.

If anyone else wants to join in on the Father/Son camping trips let us know - the guys are hoping for at least one more this year...

Family visits and camping

The beginning of November brought Heather's parents to visit. When Heather's parents come to visit, Jase goes camping at a nearby campground with his grandparents. Jase loves camping with his grandparents. Not only does he get spoiled with toys, clothes, food, and playing nonstop, 24/7, but he comes home absolutely exhausted and sleeps really great for a few days (naps that is). One of Jase's favorite things to do when camping is to stand and sit on the small table. It is always hard for him to not do this when he comes back home...

This time we had a surprise visit of Heather's paternal grandparents. It was a short visit, but it was nice for them to get to Meghan in person.
