A couple weeks ago we had another ultrasound of the baby because the baby doesn't like to cooperate with getting images taken. I reminded the ultrasound tech that we didn't want to know the sex of the baby and then we got started. During the course of the ultrasound we got talking and I asked if what was on the screen was the rump. She must have forgotten during our conversation that we didn't want to know the sex, as she proceeded to tell me that there is nothing there but an umbilical cord. So, that means it looks like we are having a little girl and we can't be more elated! Although, a little brother for Jase would have been nice too.
We also scheduled the c-section for September 12, just a little over 11 weeks away. Keep in touch for developments along the way and pics when the baby arrives.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!
Saturday we made a trip to the Indy zoo, which is one of Jase's favorite places to go. This is the first time we've made it there since the new Ocean's exhibit opened Memorial Day weekend. This new exhibit features the animals of the water (bonnethead sharks, seahorses, fish, etc) and houses the worlds largest shark touch pool. There were many 2-3 feet long dog sharks to touch. Jase got to touch 2!

Train!
Strawberries!
Strawberry season is here! Actually it started around Memorial Day weekend. We heard about a great farm just outside of town from a friend, so Joseph and Jase went Wednesday morning and picked 9 pounds in less than an hour! When Heather got home from work she made a fresh strawberry pie - yum! It seems as though strawberries were the only thing Jase ate all day (along with a slice or two of wheat bread - a staple of his...). Here is Jase all ready to pick, or shall we say eat!

Heather is hoping for more strawberries to magically appear again sometime this week (hint, hint...)
