1st Blog Anniversary!

WOW! Can you believe it has already been a year? Actually I can, since life just gets busier and busier.

Let's hope this next year provides ample blogging stories...

Tagged

I've been tagged by my friend, Becky, so here we go...

Here's how it works:
A ~ Each person has to list 6 facts/habits about them
B ~ After part A go to 6 people's blogs and leave a comment letting them know to read your blog and that they have been tagged. List at the end of your posting who you have tagged.

1. I have been to several countries and hope one day to live in Europe.
2. I am an only child.
3. The heightened sense of smell that comes with being pregnant has never went away (I've had it for over 3 years and Joe hates it).
4. I am a convert (6 years) to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
5. I love working with viruses and researching them (just as long as they don't infect me).
6. So most of you will probably think I'm crazy, but I don't swallow pills and never have. I've always been told that it is psychological because when I was a small child I choked on a piece of food and turned blue. Who knows, but I get along just fine...

I tag Joellen, Jamie, Stephanie, Misty, Gigi, and Crystal.

Need your response

I'm having some difficulty with the background of my blog not showing up on certain computers and web browsers.

When I view my blog at work on my mac using firefox, IE, or Safari, or my linux using firefox or konqueror, I see the background being white with small pink flowers (what I want). However when I am at home and using a pc with windows (ugh), I see a pale yellow background, whether using firefox or IE. This is also the computer that I made the blog template on, so I don't understand it.

So, this is where all my readers come in. Can you comment on what background you see and what computer platform and web browser you are using?

Thanks so much!

Blog under construction

hopefully to be finished by the weekend...

Pizza making men and a mess...

We enjoy eating and making pizza, especially since the bread maker mixes the dough. I (Heather) usually preps all the ingredients, while Joe and Jase get the dough ready. This time when I brought the toppings from the kitchen to the dining room table, this is what I found (note that this is only part of the mess - Jase managed to get the flour everywhere this time (even between his toes) and he had already had his bath...

The yummy pizza's we had this time were BBQ chicken with pineapple and onions, and a kid-friendly 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni pizza.

What is your favorite pizza to have?

Happy Birthday Jase!

We hope you had a great birthday, spent with family and friends!

Jase started his day with his favorite breakfast of blueberry pancakes and then got to open his presents from mommy and daddy and baby sister, and from his grandparents and great-grandma.

Then, since we still weren't sure on how the weather was going to be for the party (we were planning on being outside), we finished some stuff inside and outside, so we were prepared for both scenarios...
Heather finished Jase's cake, a dinosaur one, which ended up taking almost 2 hours to cut and frost and add the candy, due to one excited 3 year old and one teething 7 month old... But it turned out very cute and very work the effort.

Jase's party was a huge success with 15 kids and 12 parents!included Festivities included a dino egg dig in sand (the only outside activity we did due to the cold and extremely windy day), dinosaur tattoos, foam dinosaur stickers and construction paper, yummy food and cake and cupcakes, a dino egg pinata, presents, and goody bags for all attending.

Jase loves having his friends over and had a wonderful time - thanks for helping to make his 3rd birthday memorable!

I love my kids!

I finally took the time to get these photos off the camera and it helped me remember (after a really long week) just how much I love my kids. Enjoy!

Meghan's first cookie - she sure liked it!

Jase wearing a potholder turned hat.

Meghan having a good snooze in daddy's arms.

I love Jase's hair, especially when it is wet and roughed up.

Jase thought he'd share his sucker with his sister and she seemed to like it...

Jase and his cousin playing during a visit with family.

Jase loving his ice cream cone...his skin was tinted blue even after "scrubbing" it clean.
