Hair

Meghan's hair has grown alot lately. It is really getting long and is still really fine and light light blonde. Now if only she would leave in her ponytail, pigtails, or hair clips...

Halloween

This year for Halloween we got together with our good friends and had dinner, let the kids play, and then went trick or treating.

Jase was super excited to be Iron man and Meghan was a scarecrow.

Jase and Meghan love to wrestle (until someone gets pinned, then someone gets bit, and crying ensues...). It is cute when they are playing well together and loving each other.



Also, we won't be moving anytime in the real near future, for those of you that care...

Tired...

Ever since being sick with a bad throat infection about 5 weeks ago, I have been tired a lot. Like asleep by 9p and waking up at 6:30a. I thought it might have been my thyroid levels being off again, but those results came back good. So I got some more blood work done. Guess what I have? Something I've been through before... mononucleosis.

I've had it for about 5 weeks now and my spleen is still enlarged (due to not resting nearly as much as I should be). Rest and Vitamin C for me. Hopefully I can have a somewhat laid back and easy weekend. Because Monday I leave for Pennsylvania for an interview...

County Fair... (back in July)

We went to the county fair back in July with my parents (they were camping and visiting for a week - another post on that later). The kids loved riding the rides, seeing the tractors and all the people, and LOVED the horses, bunnies, pigs, cows, ducks, geese, and any other animal that was there. They even got some cotton candy. Then we got McDonald's on the way home (for the kids), since neither of the kids really wanted any of the fair food.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July holiday weekend with our great friends in Michigan, Pete and Bridgette. We never get to spend enough time with them and we always leave longing for more. Jase and Meghan adore them and can occassionally be heard calling them several names including: grandpa and grandma, aunt and uncle, and Pete and Bridgette.

We spent lots of time at parks, playing with frisbees, balls, writing in the sand, and swinging.







We went bowling, which we all loved.

Meghan loves to be twirled around, especially with just socks and on the wood floor (they don't make bowling shoes that small).




Meghan loved all the pretty colored balls - we were successful in keeping her hands from getting smashed between the balls.



We went to a carnival and the kids LOVED the petting zoo and riding some rides.

Jase went and got this duck from the worker all by himself. They are really wanting to get a pet, other than the fish we currently have...




Meghan loved the bunny rabbit. She would get so excited when she got to hold it. And she would throw a huge fit when it was time for Jase to have a turn. There were many kisses to the bunny.

We did fireworks in the driveway (some before dark for Meghan and the rest after dark with Jase).











This was Meghan's first time seeing and doing any fireworks. Jase had seen some before, but he was really into this year. Maybe next year we'll actually be able to make it to the "big" fireworks...

We wish we lived closer and could spend more time together. We hope to see you this fall!
