An evening of fun

Quite a while ago we had the Ream's over for dinner. We had a great time talking and eating and the kids played well.

Beef and Broccoli

I made this yummy (and easy) beef and broccoli recipe a while ago - it was so yummy...

4 year pics, 18 month pics, and Easter pics

I'm a month late getting these up, but thought the relatives would enjoy them.

Jase is 4 years old and Meghan is 18 months. Some of these were their Easter pics too.

Meghan's toddler bed

A couple months ago I got a great deal on Craigslist for a toddler bed for Meghan. She was beginning to try and climb out, since Jase was always climbing in and out playing, so before she actually did it, and crashed on the wood floor, we just moved it out.

Here she is the first night in her new bed.


She loves her bed and has transitioned really well. She rarely gets out of bed at night or for naps and when she does, she climbs in bed with Jase (sometimes with Jase's prompting).

And here is one of Jase sleeping too. This kid has to be a burrito in his blanket no matter what he is wearing and how warm or cold it is in the room. So with it being warmer now, he tends to sweat alot since he insists on a heavy fleece blanket to cover up with and his lovey blanket to hold and snuggle with. Crazy kid is just like his dad...

Two years of blogging...

This month marked the end of my 2nd year of blogging and the beginning of my 3rd. I've been wanting to change things up for a while and finally decided to bite the bullet. I'm likeing the spring/summery design and I think I have everything functional again.

The one thing I'm not content with is the "Holdaway Hijinks - Everyday life and endless fun...in Indiana." And I have writers block on trying to come up with anything quirky, cute, or otherwise useable.

So, a contest is in order! Let's hear what you think we should put as our header on our blog. The winner will be selected by me (with possibly some input from Joe) and will win some kind of baked goods (cookie, cake, pie, bread, etc). I'll leave this open for 1-2 weeks, so get your idea in early!
